What can we help you with?
There are a total of 20 quick intro videos in the playlist. We break this video series down into 3 parts so it’s easier for you to navigate and find the correct video for your need.
Part 1: Setup and Configuration
These are the initial hardware and essential system settings you need to set up to run the system.
Video 1: Hardware Overview
Quick orientation to the various iMRS Prime hardware components and connectivity, and booting up the system the first time. When you connect the power supply correctly to the control unit and turn on the power at the power socket, the connector box should show an amber light.
The connector box supplies power to the control unit (tablet). So when you turn on the tablet, you should be able to observe 2 things – the led light on the connector box turns green (indicating it’s communicating with the control unit correctly). You will observe a red led light next on the screen next to the power button when you press the power button on the control unit.
Video 2: Audio Setup
Audio Setup. Starting with 2.12 firmware or later, this procedure is no longer relevant. Audio setup is only relevant for those who are using BRAIN features in split mode – i.e. assigning 2 headphones to the right/left of the connector. Otherwise, in a normal single (non-split) session, the system will accept the headphone to plug into any of the two audio ports on the control unit.
Video 3: Viewing User Manual
Video #3: Viewing User Manual. This video shows you how to access the user manual (operation guide) that comes with the system.
Video 4: Setting Date & Time
Like all iMRS systems, you need to set up the correct clock time to your time zone. This video shows you where to adjust the date/time of the system. This is a very important step as the system will base on the machine time to recommend the correct organ clock program (morning, noon, evening, night) when you are running a full-body mat session (except if you choose Fast start programs).
Video 5: Setting System Language
This video shows you where in the menu to set the correct language setting. Currently, you can set German, English and Italian language.
When you do a forced factory reboot, the system may default back to the original German language. Refer to this video on where in the menu to change to the language that you can understand.
Video 8: License Activation
This video shows you how to activate the features that you have purchased through the activation key given to you. Users with a Basic license may skip this video as you are not required to activate your license – even though it’s provided.
By default, the system comes as Basic mode (only Fast Start and Manual Programs are activated). When you purchased a new iMRS system, you will be provided with an activation key. You can find your activation key in your official invoice. Contact your distributor if you cannot find yours.
The activation code is tied to the serial number of the connector box. So in any event you are using a connector box with a different serial number, your activation key will not work.
Part 2: Software Orientation
In this section, you will get familiarized with the various menu and options, programs and applications.
Video 6: System Information Screen
In this screen, you can check your system serial number (this is tied to your activation key), your hardware version, and also options for you to update your system or application firmware, doing a shutdown or reboot.
Video 7: Factory Reset Screen
This video shows you where to access the factory reset option. Factory reset option – while the name might imply it reset the system into factory default, it is not actually the case. The factory Reset option actually is only used to clear the cache and settings of the system.
There may be some variation of what it reset depending on the firmware version release, but in general, it will just clear the cache and some logs settings. Based on Firmware 2.15, it will not reset your activation key and upload music files.
This section will go through some key program options on the home menu of the Prime system.
Video 9: Fast Start Programs
Fast Start Programs comes with all Prime configuration. It offers 7 preset profiles based on specific organ clock programs, time, intensity, colour tone for BRAIN. This is a one-touch quick start profile that is designed to use with Exagon Full-body Mat. Applicable to all versions of Prime (Basic, Advanced, Expert, Hybrid, Trial).
Video 10: Manual Program
Manual Program allows you to individual applicators (Exagon Mat, Pad, Spot and BRAIN) for operation, and set the session parameters (intensity, session, organ clock, activation of BRAIN – colour settings, music/tone enable/disable), and activation option for SENSE. This program cannot be used with Exagon FIR Hybrid Mat. To use Exagon FIR Mat, choose the Hybrid Program instead. Applicable to all versions of Prime (Basic, Advanced, Expert, Hybrid, Trial).
Video 11: Exagon BRAIN – Standalone Application
iMRS Prime now allows you to use Exagon BRAIN in a standalone application without the need to activate any of the Exagon PEMF applicators. This is similar to the Omnium1 system. This video will go through with you where and how to activate this. Applicable to all versions of Prime (Basic, Advanced, Expert, Hybrid, Trial) with BRAIN.
Video 17: Program Mode
If there are some common manual settings that use frequently, you can register this as a preset profile using Program Mode, so you can retrieve this information quickly for subsequent use. The feature is available in Prime version Advanced, Expert, Hybrid and Trial.
Video 12: iGuide Program
This video shows you how to access and select the iGuide (preset profiles for close to 300+ ailments). FIR, SENSE features are not enabled when using with iGuide profiles. Applicable for Prime Expert, Hybrid and Trial versions.
Video 13 & 14: Split Mode
Prime Expert and above license comes with Split Mode feature, where it allows you to run dual independent sessions concurrently. This 2 part video shows you in detail how to do this. Applicable for Prime Expert, Hybrid and Trial Versions.
Video 15 – Hybrid Program
If you have a Hybrid/FIR full-body Mat, use this Hybrid Program instead of the Manual Program. This video shows you how to set the session correctly. Do note that this video is based on 2.08 firmware. In the 2.15 version or later firmware, the temperature setting of the FIR has been replaced with % (i.e., 10-100%) instead of indicated temperature settings (i.e. 32-45c) as shown in this video. This feature is only applicable for Prime Hybrid or Trial version.
This concludes part 2 of this tutorial series. There is no tutorial for the TRIAL program currently, as the actual usage and application are subjected to further improvement. Please contact us (or your distributor) if you have a trial version and advice on how to use this program correctly.
Part 3: Advance Settings
You may skip this section if your objective is just to get your system up and running first. However, it’s important for you to understand some more advanced administrative and operational skills in order to keep your system up to date and to be able to optimize Prime’s features fully.
Video 16: Firmware Upgrade
You are expected to perform a firmware upgrade occasionally. The currently release interval is about 3-6 months, but the frequency may be reduced over time as the system is more mature. You can also refer to https://www.imrsprime.com/support-firmware-upgrade/ for the latest firmware release and upgrade procedures. Applicable to all license versions of Prime. If your system version is not at the latest version, please check the firmware release history to find out where you are and if you should upgrade your system.
Video 18: Record Management
Prime allows you to export some of the activities logs and also your HRV R-R data out by copying the files into an external USB drive. This video shows you the steps to do that. Applicable to all license versions of Prime.
Video 19: Music Management
With Prime new music management system, you no longer need to settle with the inbuilt background music for the rest of your life. Now you can upload your own favourite background music to use the BRAIN entrainment session. This video shows you how to do that. Applicable to all license versions of Prime that uses BRAIN.
Video 20: HRV Data and Kubios
SENSE now no longer just read HRV and serve as biofeedback to adjust the intensity dynamically, but it also keeps an industry R-R HRV formatted data file where you can export to a 3rd party HRV analysis software for further analysis. This video shows you how to import the data into Kubios HRV software for analysis. Applicable to all license versions of Prime that uses SENSE.
